Thomas “Tommy” Silverson

Born on August 1, 1923 in Quebec, Canada. Tommy’s first marriage was in 1948, there is no information available. He married his second wife, Olive May Cox (1922 - 1984) sometime in 1962. Tommy learned carving from his older brothers and the boys would gather together to carve and tell stories. He was an CPA and retired from that career in 1970 to commit to carving full time. His carving career spanned 27 years, and carved under the name of The Whittler. He died in Prescott, Ontario on April 15, 1994.
